Lamar Pierce, professor of organizational and strategy at Washington University in St. Louis’ Olin Business School. His term will begin on Jan. 1. Julia Paulus has been with the St. Louis Business Journal (SBM) since 2007. As an editor, Julia oversees the magazine’s editorial content while working closely with all columnists. Additionally, Julia assists with writing advertising copy for SBM advertisements. Julia graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia’s School of Journalism.

Lauer was recognized for his commitment to fostering entrepreneurialism and socioeconomic equity within St. Louis through UMSL Accelerate, an innovative community of entrepreneurs, students, and professionals working collaboratively to build a more robust economy.

The Library houses several journals and monographs published by the Business Journal and microfilm from the Mercantile Library’s archives, dating back to its foundation in 1872. Since then, they have amassed an enormous collection of newsprint that documents St. Louis region history as well as life throughout Missouri – these historic documents can now be searched online using full-page images digitized by our library staff – we continue our digitization effort and make these historical resources more readily accessible to readers today.
