Google is one of the world’s most popular email services, yet some people no longer wish to utilize it.

If you need to delete your Gmail account permanently, it’s easy. But before doing so, ensure you know how to do so safely.

How to Delete Gmail Account Without a Password

Gmail is one of the most widely used email services on the web. It’s often used as people’s default client, offering features other mail clients can’t provide.

If you have an old Gmail account or want to clear away some clutter, deleting your account is a simple and free process.

However, once the account is deleted, you will no longer have access to it, so be sure you are prepared before diving in.

First, go to Google’s settings to unsubscribe from a Gmail account. Under “Data & privacy,” select Delete a Google Service.

1. Go to Settings

Gmail is one of the world’s most popular email services. Unfortunately, it can become overrun with spam and junk messages over time. In such cases, it may be beneficial to permanently delete a gmail account without password.

To delete a Google account, first, go to settings and click “Delete a service.” You can remove just that service or your entire Google account from here.

Once you’ve deleted a service, other Google accounts cannot access its data. Deleting clutter and avoiding junk mail can be beneficial; however, be aware that deletion of your Google account also deletes all associated data, including emails, calendars, documents, and photos.

2. Click on Account Settings

Deleting your Gmail account will permanently erase all associated emails and data from Google. Doing so also stops hackers from accessing your information or sending you unwanted email messages.

Before you delete your account, back up any data you need to keep, there are multiple ways of doing this; downloading it onto a computer and printing off photos.

To get started, open Account Settings from within Gmail, and you should see a message asking you to “Re-enter your password and sign in again.” Clicking this will take you back to the Gmail login screen.

Next, choose either “Delete a Google service or Delete your account” under the Download or Delete your Data section.

Once confirmed, you will be asked to enter an alternate email address for your account. Unfortunately, this cannot be another Gmail address and must be verified before deleting it.

3. Click on Delete Account

Finding the correct way to delete an account can be tricky, particularly when connected with multiple services. Deleting your Gmail account is a great way to stop spam and hackers from accessing your information.

To permanently delete a Google account, navigate to Settings and click the Delete Account option.

Once signed in, you must use a different email address for security purposes. Doing so ensures that other Google products, such as Calendar and Docs, can still be accessed using the new email address.

Once signed in, the next step is to select the data that needs backing up. Doing this creates a backup archive that can be downloaded onto your computer or saved to cloud storage services like OneDrive or Dropbox.

Alternatively, you can delete your Gmail account by clicking the Delete button at the bottom of your email messages. However, remember this is a permanent solution, and there will be no way back.
