Redmi Note 9 Pro Max User Review

Whether you’re looking for the perfect smartphone or simply want to find out more about a specific product, it’s important to find out what the user experience is like. You’ll find that reading a review can be a helpful way to find out how a device works and what the user liked and disliked about it.

Camera performance

Compared to last year’s Redmi Note 8 Pro, the new Redmi Note 9 Pro has a bigger sensor, higher resolution, and improved video quality. However, its camera performance isn’t very good.

The Note 9 Pro’s primary camera is good in good light and bad in low light. The image quality isn’t very good, but the photos have good detail and accurate colors. However, the pictures look grainy and have splotches.

The Note 9 Pro’s selfie camera has slightly better details than the one on the Note 8 Pro. However, it also shows a bit more uneven skin texture. It also has more pixels, though.

The Note 9 Pro’s night mode is similar to the one on the iPhone 11 and captures brighter colors. However, it’s not as good as the real hardware.

Battery life

Considering that the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with a 5020mAh battery, the question is, can it keep up with the rest of the pack? The answer is yes. In fact, the smartphone will easily last two days on a single charge, making it a great choice for most consumers.

It’s not just the battery that keeps the Redmi Note 9 Pro running, though. The device also boasts a slew of new features. This includes a new 64-megapixel camera with an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Combined with a new MIUI skin based on Android 10, this smartphone is more than just a battery-saver.

In fact, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is the best all-rounder phone you can buy for its price. While it doesn’t beat out the Apple iPhone 7 in terms of display quality or performance, it offers great value and is well worth its premium price.

Display size

Among all the latest Redmi Note 9 series handsets, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is probably the most significant upgrade. As the name suggests, the Max version offers a bigger screen size. The Max version has a large 6.67-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 PX. Unlike the standard model, the Max version lacks a 90Hz high refresh rate LCD screen. It also lacks an Always-on display feature.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset. It’s assisted by 6GB RAM and an Adreno 618 GPU. It also features a quad-camera module on the back. This camera module consists of a primary 64MP camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.

The screen on the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is a 6.67-inch FHD+ panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 PX. The display is IPS LCD and is protected by Cornrilla Glass 5. The pixel density is 395 PPI. This results in sharp visuals.

Aura Balance design

Besides having a large display, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has an interesting design language. It consists of a 3D curved glass body with an Aura Balance design. It also has a 3.5 mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and an IR blaster.

It features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It also has a haptic Z-Axis vibration motor, which enables quick haptic feedback. It also has a 32MP selfie camera and a 5MP macro camera on the back.

It also comes with a 32-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. It has a dual-SIM tray with a microSD card, a dual-microphone setup, and a fingerprint scanner. It comes in three storage variants. The base model comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The top-end model has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Price

Whether you are looking for a budget smartphone or a mid-range phone, the Redmi Note 9 Pro is a good option. It offers a large display and a good camera setup for a good price. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a USB Type C port.

The standard Redmi Note 9 Pro has a 6-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a punch-hole cutout. The display is protected by Cornrilla Glass 5 and has a pixel density of 395 pixels per inch.

The standard model has a quad-camera setup at the back, with a primary camera of 48MP, a secondary camera of 8MP, and a 5MP macro shooter. The front camera is a 32MP sensor.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max offers more RAM than the standard model, with 6GB or 8GB RAM options. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chip and an Adreno 618 GPU. The battery capacity is also higher, with a 5,020mAh battery. It also supports 33W fast charging.
