Realme 6 Pro Camera Review

Among the most recent offerings from the company, the Realme 6 Pro comes with a high-end camera that boasts a dual camera setup. The camera is capable of taking sharp pictures and offering watercolor effects. In addition, the phone comes with a 4300mAh non-removable battery.

Watercolor effect

Using the watercolor effect on your smartphone will turn your photo into a work of art. For instance, the Waterlogue app is available for Android and Windows 10 desktops. The app also offers several options for contrast and color schemes.

Waterlogue’s got a lot of features to keep you busy. Not to mention the fact that it has been vetted and tested for quality. The best part is you don’t have to shell out a ton of cash to get a smokin’ image.

One of the best uses for the watercolor effect on your smartphone is transforming travel photographs into works of art. The software combines 150 hand-crafted vector illustrations into realistic textures. You can even tweak the opacity of the brushes to your liking. The resulting photos look as good as the best professional photographs.

90Hz screen

Using a 90Hz screen on a smartphone isn’t for everyone, but if you’re in the market for a phone with a fluid experience and an eye-popping display, you’ll be happy to know that you can find one in the Realme 6 Pro. The company’s latest offering is not the first to incorporate this technology, but it’s one that makes a very big difference.

The Realme 6 Pro has a full HD+ display that is almost the entire front of the phone. It’s a 6.6-inch panel that is paired with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection. This screen is a 20:9 LCD-type FullHD+ panel that offers a vibrant 1,080 x 2,400-pixel resolution. It’s also got a 480-nit maximum brightness.

Aside from the 90-Hz screen, there are other features that make the Realme 6 Pro a real winner. For starters, the device’s fingerprint sensor is integrated into the power button. This is not the case with other smartphones in the same price range.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G

During the launch of the Realme 6 Pro in India, the company announced the availability of a new smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC. The Snapdragon 720G is a 64-bit ARM LTE system on a chip that is designed to meet the needs of budget gamers.

The Snapdragon 720G SoC has two big Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.3GHz. These cores are ultra-high-performance and power-efficient. The chip also features Adreno 618 GPU operation at 750MHz. This graphics system is good at driving most AAA games.

The Realme 6 Pro has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display also supports 480 nits of peak brightness. The phone has a curved edge and a punch-hole design.

The Snapdragon 720G processor supports dual VoLTE and USB PD. The chipset also includes a Cat 15 downlink and Bluetooth 5.1. It also features a Qualcomm aptX HD 24-bit wireless audio output.

4300mAh non-removable battery capacity

Powered by a 4300 mAh non-removable battery, the Realme 6 Pro’s battery life is impressive enough to get you through a day and a half of normal usage. It also features a nifty camera that’s not just for show. The camera features a 12MP telephoto lens that’s good for 20x hybrid zoom.

Besides the usual suspects, the Realme 6 Pro also features a dual SIM and runs on Android 10 out of the box. The UI has a fair amount of polish and includes a few of the best Google apps, including the aforementioned Gmail and Google Maps. It even comes with a 30W VOOC 4.0 charger, which clocked in at 57 minutes.

The Realme 6 Pro also gets a nod for its telephoto lens, a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, and a 12MP selfie camera. It also has a nifty display courtesy of a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 front panel. The aforementioned screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio and measures 163.9 x 75.8 x 9.4mm.

Midrange price tag

Considering the midrange price tag, the Realme 6 Pro Camera is an excellent buy. It has the best of what you would expect from a mid-range device and the design is one of the best we’ve seen. It also comes with a unique light-refracting rear panel.

Realme has built a solid catalog of devices that offer flagship-level features at a low price. But they do have some room for improvement.

Realme has improved its camera technology with each generation of its devices. The Realme 2’s main camera uses a pixel-binned image, which keeps noise levels low. It also has a fast shutter speed and a great night mode.

The Realme 6 Pro is the first Realme device to offer its own custom Android skin. It’s built over Android 10 and includes some of the most useful features from ColorOS.
