How to Prepare a Delicious Paella Recipe

The traditional recipe for paella has been around for hundreds of years and is now being served worldwide. It can be prepared as a vegetarian or a meat version, depending on your preferences.

Saffron

To prepare shrimp for the recipe, start by de-veining and peeling the shrimp. Be sure to wash them thoroughly. Alternatively, you can use frozen shrimp, which should be thawed before cooking.

In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Stir in aromatics, such as onions, garlic, and red peppers. Saute for a minute.

Next, add the shellfish and stir until the shellfish are heated through. Adding the shrimp to the pan ensures that the meat will be covered.

Vegetarian or vegetarian options

A vegetarian paella recipe is a great choice if you’re looking for a delicious and nutritious meal. This dish is packed with healthy veggies, a touch of saffron, and a hint of garlic. It can be served as a main or side dish and goes well with fresh and crusty bread.

In addition to choosing the correct type of rice, you’ll need to make sure to use a variety of vegetables. For example, add sliced red pepper and green beans to your sofrito. Or, you can substitute artichoke hearts for mushrooms.
