New Orleans duo $uicideboy$ have announced their annual Grey Day tour for 2023, which will make stops across arenas and theaters throughout the US this summer and fall. Opening acts include Ghostemane, City Morgue, Freddie Dredd (on select dates), Sematary, and Ramirez.

Ghostemane

Ghostemane of the Grey Day Tour 2023 is an exceptional performer blending industrial hip-hop and metal music, creating a unique musical journey exploring various shadows of human existence. G59 Record$ and New Orleans duo $uicideboy$ have announced an exciting 40-date Grey Day Tour this summer and fall, featuring an impressive lineup of supporting artists. The tour will visit arenas and theaters across the country – including an appearance at Los Angeles’s Chase Center on October 25. Additionally, stops include Smoothie King Center (New Orleans), Wells Fargo Center (Philadelphia), Gainbridge Fieldhouse (Indianapolis), Phoenix Raceway (Phoenix), Kia Forum (Los Angeles), Moody Center Austin Austin, as well as Madison Square Garden New York. All shows feature openers such as City Morgue, Freddie Dredd Sematary, or Ramirez, depending upon the date – depending upon where they go.

Fans who attend this concert can expect an extraordinary musical journey, exploring the intricate beauty and many shades of human existence. Performances will elicit powerful beats and profound lyrics while stirring up an array of emotions and experiences. Additionally, Tristan Zammit’s Japan-inspired animated series (she previously worked with Metallica, Lil Yachty, Juice WRLD, and Lil Uzi Vert, among other acts) will also be showcased during this concert.

City Morgue

City Morgue is a New York-based trap metal duo composed of ZillaKami and SosMula, widely recognized for their groundbreaking sound and receiving praise from major publications like Complex, Pitchfork, Mass Appeal, and Revolver. City Morgue has sold hundreds of thousands of records worldwide and toured extensively; their recent album, 2020 TOXIC BOOGALOO, reached #9 on the Billboard Top Rock Album Sales chart.

Grey Day Tour 2023 will bring the two to arenas and theaters across North America this fall, featuring support from Ghostemane, City Morgue, Freddie Dredd, Sematary, and Ramirez, with opening acts varying depending on each show. Starting late August through October, the tour tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time, with presales beginning Thursday.

Freddie Dredd

G59 Record$ and New Orleans duo $uicideboy$ have announced their Grey Day Tour 2023 featuring Ghostemane, City Morgue, Freddie Dredd, Sematary, and Ramirez as support acts. Beginning on August 25 and running through October 30, this North American trek will hit various venues and amphitheaters from August 25-30; ticket sales for this show start on Friday, May 19 at 10 AM Pacific Time (PT).

Freddie Dredd (aka Ryan Mitchel Chassels) is a Canadian rapper and producer best known for his gritty yet experimental musical sound. After initially uploading beats under his name on music-sharing sites under Ryan C, Dredd soon began producing under this moniker and using chopped-and-screwed techniques in his production style. Dredd’s music draws influence from Memphis rap and punk music genres, while his production style utilizes chop-and-screw techniques.

His music has garnered him an extensive online following, particularly on TikTok, where his songs went viral. Due to this success, RCA signed him and released singles and EPs under their label until 2022 when they released full-length album “Freddie’s Inferno”.

Dredd’s musical style can be best defined as an amalgam of lo-fi sounds, vintage samples, and intense lyrics, often dark in tone. His sound harkens back to underground hip-hop artists such as Baker, RAMIREZ, and Slim Guerilla, with whom he has collaborated over time as part of collectives such as Doomshop Records and SIXSET.

Dredd has become a prolific performer over time, appearing at multiple live shows with his raw energy and impressive lyrical talent. His push of UK rap’s boundaries earned him many accolades – from performing at Manchester Arena and O2 Academy to sharing stages with YNW Melly and Smokepurpp. Dredd also regularly engages with his fans through social media outlets such as Instagram and Twitter by posting photos with crew and teases of forthcoming projects, as well as videos from live performances he attended.

Sematary

Ruby Da Cherry and $ Crim made a pact when they formed their punk-flavored hip-hop duo to commit suicide if their musical careers failed to flourish. Nine years later, this duo is still going strong; in fact, they’ll be touring America this summer/fall for their Grey Day Tour, along with Ghostemane City Morgue Freddie Dredd Sematary Ramirez for select dates of this tour.

The Grey Day Tour 2023 will launch on August 25 at Legacy Arena at BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama, and conclude on October 30 with a show at Red Rocks in Colorado. Along the way, they’ll visit Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Chase Field Phoenix, Kia Forum Los Angeles, and Moody Center Austin, among many other stops along their journey.
